

Dickie E. “Pete” Crum, age 85, of Brunswick, died Monday, July 23, 2012, at Woodlands Health Care and Rehab in Midway. Pete was a veteran of the US Navy and served during WWII. He worked for Atlanta Neon Light Company prior to working for Coastal Decorators, where he retired after 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond R. Crum, Sr. and Lillie M. Boyd Crum; three brothers, Raymond Crum, Jr., Tom Crum and Jim Crum; a daughter, Marshal Diane Marchman, and a granddaughter, Stacy Jacobs.
He is survived by a daughter, Donna Johnson; a step-son, Larry Helms (Bobby), five grandsons, Larry Helms, Jr. (Natalie), Daniel Helms, Kenny Crum (Donna), Billy Johnson (Brigett) and Lee Clay; three granddaughters, Crissy Fordham, Loretta Williams and Dana Tasciotti; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at the home of Kenny Crum, 183 Terry Drive, Brunswick, GA.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Zeitlin officiating. Active pallbearers will be Joshua Harrison, Daniel Helms, Larry Helms, Jr., Daryl Johnson, Roger Johnson and Johnny Barker. Floyd Anderson will serve as an honorary pallbearer. Burial with military honors will immediately follow the service in Palmetto Cemetery.
Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
