Donald Buck Ward

Donald Buck Ward age 64, lifetime resident of Brunswick, passed away Friday April 24 2015 at his home. He is the son of the late Wingett and Irene Kirkus Ward and was also preceded in death by his sister, Juanelle Goodbread and brother, Leroy D. Ward.

Donald attended Glynn Academy, and was a painter by trade He was a loving husband, and father. He attended Brunswick Primitive Baptist and Grace Place Church. Donald loved to ride his motorcycle, woodworking and making people smile with his jokes.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 26 years, Peggy Walker Ward; three daughters and one son, Stacey Arndt and her husband James, of High Springs, FL, Brandi Ward Melvin and her husband Alex, of Asheville, NC, Renee West and her husband Billy, of Midway, GA , and John Oliver Ross of Brunswick; a brother, Jimmy Ward and his wife Tanna, of Brunswick; two sisters, Ada Eckstrom and Faye Ward of Brunswick. Donald’s extended family includes six grandchildren and one great grandchild. In addition, he is survived by several nieces and nephews and many others who loved him dearly.

Visitation will be held Monday April 27, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.
