Donald Lee Wilson, 69, of Darien, GA, died Thursday December 30, 2010 at the Brunswick Hospital of Southeast Georgia Health Systems. A native of Knight Station, Florida born March 12, 1941 to the late Bascom Wilson and the late Elizabeth Fox Wilson.
Mr. Wilson had been residence of Waycross, Georgia for twenty years and has resided in Darien for the past four months. Mr. Wilson was a carpenter by trade from which he retired. He enjoyed his family and fishing. Mr. Wilson leaves a legacy of memories and will be sadly missed by all.
Survivors include his wife Shirley Gertrude Wilson, his children Johnnie Wilson, Belinda Sweat and husband Pete, Katina Sweat and husband Gary, and Donnie Wilson all of Darien, GA, two brothers David and Franklin Wilson, a sister Wilma Lee Ellis and husband Kenneth, four grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
There are no services at this time. Mr. Wilson’s memorialization was by cremation.
Arrangements are entrusted to Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home and Oglethorpe Crematorium in Brunswick, GA.
