Dr. Doreen Darlyn Kinney MD

Dr. Kinney was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, but had resided in Brunswick, Georgia for the last seventeen years. She was the daughter of LTC Richard K. Kinney Retired (US Army) and the late Darlyn Frances Kinney. Dr. Kinney received her Medical Degree from the Medical College of Georgia School Of Medicine and had practiced Family Medicine in Brunswick, Georgia for the last sixteen years. She practiced at Family Medicine Professional as a primary care physician. Dr. Kinney was certified in family medicine with the American Board of Family Medicine and a member of the American Medical Association.

A celebration of life service to honor Dr. Kinney’s life and service to humanity will be held Friday, May 27 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. The Visitation will be held 2:00 PM after the service at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.

Dr. Kinney was preceded in death by her mother, Darlyn Frances Kinney. She is survived by her father, LTC Richard K. Kinney Retired (US Army) and his wife Raquel of Colorado Springs, Colorado, her sister, Laurie Ann Kinney of Brunswick, GA, two brothers, Erwin R. Kinney and Kirk W. Kinney.

Dr. Kinney enjoyed helping her fellowmen with her sound knowledge of medicine and her caring nature. She enjoyed traveling and loved animals. She also loved to spend time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in her honor to the Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia, 4627 US Hwy 17, Brunswick, GA 31525.
