Funeral services will be conducted at 10 am Friday, May 30, 2025 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Willie Walker Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery with Ric Guest, Cory Guest, Doug McEntyre, Bill Gunn, Scott Stradtman and Michael Williams serving as pallbearers.
Born January 24, 1945 in Stockton, Georgia to the late Lee L. and Margaret J. Guest, she was a homemaker and had been a resident of Glynn County since 1966. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Brunswick.
Mrs. Fender enjoyed cooking for family and friends, sewing, and fishing. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Lewis Fender, and two brothers Truman and Ed Guest.
Survivors include a son, Stacy Fender of Brunswick, a sister Betty J. Griffis and husband Terry of Naylor, several nieces and nephews, and an honorary daughter, Winnie Turoski of Hortense.
