Eddie Michael Smith

Eddie Michael Smith, age 51, of Brunswick, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022. Eddie was born February 4, 1971. He was preceded in death by his father James Eddie Smith and his sister Brandie Smith.

Mr. Smith was born and raised in Brunswick and attended Brunswick High School. He was a cross country truck driver and attended Under His Wings Church of God in Waynesville, GA. Eddie loved to hunt, fish, to spend time on the ocean. He also loved the Atlanta Falcons, Georgia Bulldogs, and Classic cars. His favorite pastime was watching deer on Jekyll Island and spending time with his sweet companion dog, "Baby doll", but most of all Eddie dearly loved his family and God.

Eddie is survived by his mother, Dian Smith; a sister, Elizabeth Smith; his son, Michael Smith; two daughters, DJ Smith and Chastity Lockwood; one aunt, Rhonda Owens; niece, Desarae Wood, nephews Brandon Wood and Raymond Wood and grandchildren Ellie Lockwood and Rhyder Lockwood.

A visitation for Eddie will be held Friday, April 15, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, 3321 Glynn Ave, Brunswick, GA. A funeral service to honor his life will occur Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home Chapel. Officiants are Pastor Chad Middleton and Pastor Bill Brown.
