Lillian was a graduate of Dougherty County High School, class of 1965. After graduation, she attended Georgia State then transferred to Darton College, now Albany State University, where she earned her degree in nursing. Lillian worked for several hospitals in the Dougherty County area prior to retiring and moving to St. Simons Island.
She is survived by a son, Sean Sebastian Haskell of Brunswick; sister, Anne Elizabeth Lammers McKie of Brunswick; nephew, Jason Nicholas Robitz (Krista); niece, Sarah Catherine McKie Stephens; five great nieces and one great nephew.
