Edna was born on July 25, 1937, in Heflin, Alabama to Joe Harris and Jetty Trantham. She was a long time resident of Glynn County, and enjoyed spending her free time pursuing a variety of activities including reading, cross stitching, and computer games. Edna also loved spending time in the couple's cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains, where she was well known for burning the biscuits.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, John Griner, of Brunswick; daughter, Gail Wooten of Opelika; daughter, Patricia Holt, of Opelika; and son, Glenn Griner, of Brunswick. She was also the loving grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at 10 AM – 11 AM Wednesday, June 4th, 2014 at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, June, 4, 2014 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Hinton Johnson officiating. Interment to follow in Palmetto Cemetery.
