This was my husband Greg Mabry's cousin. Greg always spoke highly of him and after reading his obiturary I see why. I am sorry I never got to meet him as I am a nurse of 36 years and would have been interested in his work with the mentally ill, our now unfortunate homeless society. God bless those left behind that mourn their loss.

With deepest sympathy to the Boshears family during your time of grief...Psalm 46:1...God is for us a refuge and strength, A help that is readily to be found during difficult times...May God provide you with peace and comfort to endure the days ahead.

It was a delight to make Ed's acquaintance in Washington, DC. He attended the Russian Ball, Arts for the Aging, and other fundraising events. Ed was a fine conversationalist and the utimate scholar and gentleman. Every one whose lives he touched will remember him not only for his kindness and warmth, but also for his distinguished contributions to society at large.

Mr. Boshears was a man who served his fellow man; he gave comfort to many by his fighting for the aid of those who needed his knowledge and expertise. His valor was not limited to the defense of humans; his love for and protection of animals was one of his more praiseworthy qualities also. He was one of our fellow men for whom we can say, "It was an honor as well as a pleasure to know him."

Edward was a brilliant, kind mind. We knew each other in high school when he first fell in love with his beloved Judy. I was never so happy as to see the two of them happily married. He had that special twinkle in his eyes and you could see the devotion. Judy Bazemore and I were close friends playing together much of grammar school and friends all the way through high school. I miss them both and am so sorry for the loss for all of Ed's dear family, friends, and colleagues. May his memory be a blessing to all who loved him.
