July 3, 1940 – November 8, 2025
Elaine Brooks Alberson, 85, of Brunswick, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on November 8, 2025. Born on July 3, 1940, in Campbellsville, Kentucky, Elaine lived a life marked by faith, family, and a heart for serving others.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Elaine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Johnny Alberson. She is survived by her sons, Garrow (Wendy) Alberson and Lloyd (Jenny) Alberson; her sister, Charlotte Pulfrey; and her cherished grandchildren — Lexi, Whitley, Eli, Annajane, and Jack — all of whom brought her endless joy.
Elaine spent many years working with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, where she devoted herself to supporting the 4-H program and other youth outreach efforts. Her dedication to helping young people grow and learn left a lasting impact on her community.
A proud and active member of the Sea Oats Garden Club, Elaine found beauty and peace in nature and cherished the friendships she made there. She was also a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Brunswick, where she actively participated in the Good News Sunday School class. Her deep and abiding faith was evident in every part of her life — she truly was a Godly woman whose kindness, warmth, and love for others reflected her walk with Christ.
Above all, Elaine loved her family deeply. Whether at home, at church, or during family outings to the Gulf Coast, she was happiest surrounded by her loved ones — laughing, sharing stories, and making everyone feel special.
Her legacy of faith, love, and service will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
