Elaine M. Goodyear

Elaine was born in Adrian, GA on April 12, 1947. The daughter of the late Randolph and Gladys Meeks. She was a caregiver to her husband. She loved her family very much.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years Floyd Goodyear; a son Chad Goodyear (Jodie), twin daughters, Audrey Callaway (Paul) and Vicky Goodyear; three grandchildren, Trevor, Blake and Callen; and a brother Randall Meeks and sister Sandy Proctor.

Funeral services are 11:00AM Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the Golden Isles Church of God with Rev. Jimmy Carter officiating. Interment to follow at Chapel Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, February 16, 2018 from 6-8PM at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Chad Goodyear, Trevor Callaway, Blake Callaway, Gerry Herndon, Bill Burgstiner, Ben Rainey, Ad Poppell and Teddy Elrod.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Brookman Community Church, c/o Georgia Rainey, 130 Battle Road, Brunswick, GA 31523.

Elaine leaves her family and friends with a loving legacy. Her devotion to the Lord, her ethics, her morals, frugality and devotion to family and friends.
