Mrs Elaine was my mentor in high school. Today as I sat in New China those memories crossed my mind. I wanted to reach out to her and tell her how far I had came from those days. I was saddened when my search for her led me here. I will never forget her and the time she invested in me during those lunches.

MY  BABY,I love u so much and miss u even more.SO lost without you.I call the house to here your voice.We had fun what ever we did.I would spell words or say them wrong, just to see what u would say, you would laugh or just shake your head.I can see you now sitting beside me  doing  your bible study and we would talk about  the sunset how beautiful it was.My baby its so hard for me to understand Why you were taken from me, we had so many plans and places to go.Yes i am mad  that god took you from me so early in our lives.I miss holding your hand, your smile and your laugh,We had fun what ever we did.So lost without you baby.YOU took care of me and I loved you with all my heart. no one could take care of me like you did. I thought we were dating i would kiss you and hug you all the time,and tell you how much i loved you baby and you said the same.I walk in the house and not a sound so empty without you.NOW i am righting this letter to YOU and i have a stamp and no address.ALL i can say is I LOVE YOU BABY AND MISS YOU SO MUCH AND STILL DO.I know in my heart you are in a better place but its so hard to except it. LOVE YOU THEO

Oh Elaine, I think about you most everyday. I still wrap up in the GEORGIA BULLDOG WRAP you gave me several years ago. I talk to you at times and I know you hear me! I will always love you my sweet cousin!

Our hearts were broken when Jesus called you home. While it was too soon for us, we know God's timing is perfect. Christmastime was a favorite for Elaine. It was only fitting that she went home Christmas Eve. I am sure she had everyone singing The 12 days of Christmas. That was a must every Christmas Eve. Before she went into surgery she had us sing it to her. 
Those that knew Elaine knew she was witty (always had a comeback) but all of it was in fun. If she did this to you then you were liked. She had the gift of laughter. Everything was funny and when she started laughing there was no stopping her. This was also contagious....it caused us to get in trouble when we were younger. 
When I think of Elaine, I agree with some of these other remarks made about her:
She was super smart. She knew more words than Webster,
 very competitive, loved to travel. and trying new things.
She could sale ice to Eskimos. I think she was the top fund raiser in every charity she got involved with. The thing I think of most is that she Loved! She had tremendous love for Ted, her family, and friends.  I read somewhere " A Journey is best measured in friends, rather than miles." From the turnout at her memorial, phone calls, cards and visits I know her Journey was remarkable. The love she gave was returned. 
I will cherish the many, many memories we shared. The trips, concerts, family get togethers, holidays, and the many other things we did as sisters. You were my older sister and took that job seriously especially when we were growing up. Thank you for that. 
I will love you and miss you every day of my life. Waiting for the day that I will see you again. John 14:1-2 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Elaine may possibly be the most amazing woman and friend I have ever had! Words simply cannot express how much I will miss her. I love you my friend.

Elaine, my precious friend. I am so grateful and blessed to have had you in my life for so long. You always wanted to look after me and now, you are truly my guardian angel. You will always be in my thoughts and in my heart. Until we meet again, dear friend.

We just learned of your passing this evening. I'm sure God has a special place in Heaven for you. Our prayers go out to Ted and all the other family and friends.

I've known Elaine since we started school together. She was one of the smartest kids in class and one of the tallest. I remember she always stood up for herself and for what she thought was right. My condolences for the family. Elaine will be missed by many.

I will miss your phone calls and your laugh. Thank you for being my cousin and in my life! I will laways love you...

I will always remember Elaine's generous giving heart, her quick wit and humor but most of all her inspiration for us to love others. I am blessed to have know this very special lady.

I met Elaine when I worked at King and Prince Seafood in Accounting over 20 years ago. When she and I first became friends, she was appalled to find out that I was dating her old classmate, Mike, whom she just "loved". She deemed him WAY too old for me (he is 13 years older). She finally accepted us dating and gave us her blessing to marry! :) She was always reminding me of what a baby I am. For years we all attended First Baptist together. She always greeted me with a huge smile, a hug, and told me that she loved me. In the last few years, she and Mike planned several class reunion Supper Clubs. A few were held at our house (I had to lock up the dog. Elaine was terrified of them).  We had many good times at those gatherings. The Class of 72 will surely miss her. I know my husband will. He and Elaine had a special love for one another! 
All though we all will miss Elaine making our world brighter, I will choose to have faith in God's will. I am secure in knowing that Elaine Spaulding Moore is indeed in the presence of our King!

You were a great character of kind heart, respected by many and loved by all.  Everytime anyone spoke your name, their smile would light up the room.  I am sadden by the sudden loss but grateful to haven known you through Jan.  Bless your loved ones.

Elaine I will miss your bright spirit and loving heart. I know you are with Jesus now but you are so missed here on earth!

Mrs. Elaine- you will be greatly missed by all.  Your beautiful smile was contagious to all who were around you.  I am praying for your family.

Miss Elaine, I will always remember you and your beautiful smile. You will be missed greatly. The loving big sister of my dear friend, Jan, and I have such fond memories of you watching over us as teens. And...I will miss your silly drawings on the "Draw Me" game and how I could almost hear you laughing at me trying to figure them out! Rest in peace, sweet lady.

I remember when we met in Pams class at FBC and you officially made me one of your 'sisters'.  Will forever remember you and your friendship. See you again my friend.

Elaine always had a smile and had a very tender heart.  She loved her family devotedly.  She will be missed by many.

Sweet and precious memories I will have til I see you again my dear friend.  You will be sorely missed here by us left behind, a deep hurt of your absence that God will have to heal within each of us.  Ted, Randy, Paula, Jan, nieces and nephews, she loved you so.  I pray for God's comfort during this difficult time.  I love you all.
