

Enoch Benjamin Peacock, 71, of Brunswick, departed this life Wednesday, August 15, 2023 at UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville FL. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 am Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Frederica Baptist Church with Reverends Rick Brown and Jerome Granade officiating. Interment will follow at Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens with David Gardner, Jamie Gardner, Micah Kerns, Andrew Peacock, Troy Taylor, Finn Venker, and Zachary Williams serving as pallbearers.
Born in Alma, Georgia to the late Enoch Benhill and Rachael M. Peacock, he was a graduate of Glynn Academy Class of 1969. He also attended GA Tech. Mr. Peacock was also a Retired Major from The US Army. He was a former employee of GA Power and owner of Wastech, INC, as well as president of Lighthouse Information Services. He had lived most of his life in Glynn County. He attended Frederica Baptist Church, and enjoyed travel, spending time on the back deck with his wife Kathy, fishing and time with his children and grandchildren. They were all cherished by him. In addition to his parent’s, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tiffany Dawn Peacock, a brother Allison Peacock, and two sisters, Jean Allen, and Ruby Jewell Peacock.
Survivors include his wife of almost 49 years, Kathy Peacock of Brunswick, three children, Mishelle Williams and husband Joel of Douglas, Ben Peacock and wife Amy of Woodstock, and Angel Venker and husband Reint of St. Simons Island, nine grandchildren, Meagan Kerns, Micah Kerns, Morgan Leavens, Zachary and Anna Laura Williams, Andrew and Avery Peacock, Finn and Sophie Venker, three great grandchildren, Everly and Breck Leavens, and Liam Enoch Kerns, a brother, James Peacock and wife Becky of Brunswick, plus several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends for visitation Friday evening from 6 pm until 8 pm at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home in Brunswick, GA.
