

Frederick J. Lodise passed away suddenly on August 15th 2014 at the age of 80. “Freddie” was born in Queens, NY in May of 1934 to John & Rose Lodise. One of 12 children, he served in the US Army & was proud to be the pitcher for their baseball team.
Freddie is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Rose Rita Lodise, and four children who adored him. Jimmy Lodise of Bound Brook NJ, Billy & wife Cindy Lodise of Jacksonville FL, Danny & wife Amy Lodise of Brunswick GA and Susie Lodise of NYC. A proud Grandpa to Taylor, Anthony, Carly, Kyle, Alex, Jordan & Miles Lodise, he has handed down all of his passions to them: The NY Yankees always & forever, an unconditional love of animals, his talent on the dance floor & always the life of the party and his love of playing Golf with his 3 sons. After retirement, Freddie found joy in gardening, babysitting his grandchildren and spending time with his friends at PUBLIX.
A parishioner of St. Francis Xavier of Brunswick, a memorial service will be held in his honor on Sunday, August 16th 2014 at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Humane Society in his name.
