

A memorial service will be held in his honor at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Lighthouse Baptist Church with Pastor David Hudson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The Burial will be announced at a later time and will be held at Glennville Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville, Georgia.
Mr. Stepp was a native of Blue Ridge, Georgia, but had resided in Brunswick most of his life. He was the son of the late Roy A. and Mary Stepp. He was a United States Marine Veteran and served his country honorable during the Vietnam conflict. He was retired from Georgia Pacific Corporation where he worked for Brunswick Pulp and Paper for over forty years. Mr. Stepp loved his Lord Jesus Christ and Savior. He also was a loving husband and enjoyed spending time with his family. He took great pleasure in hunting, fishing and spending time at Walker Hunting Club where he was a member. Mr. Stepp and his wife liked to spend time in the North Georgia Mountains where they own a home.
Mr. Stepp was preceded in death by his mother and father; a daughter, Gerianne Stepp Harris. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Stepp of Brunswick, GA; A daughter, Gina Lane “Paul” of Brunswick, GA; one grand-daughter, Angel Lane; two grand-sons, Nathan and Jason Lane; One brother, Roy Lee Stepp of Brunswick, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Stepp will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. However, His family will have many fond memories to cherish in the years to come.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donation be made in his honor to Lighthouse Baptist Church in care of the Hope Children’s Home.
