My deepest sympathy and fervent prayers to the family of a dear friend and devout Christian who touched the lives of so many. It was an honor to teach under his leadership. He will be sorely missed .

I am so thankful to have known Guy. I have known many good people in my 72 years but Guy Still will always be one of the finest men I ever knew. He loved God and always put Him at the top of his priorities. Next came his family. He loved them all and was very close to his children and grandchildren. He also loved his school and treated all his staff and students with the utmost care. Guy had a big heart for all people. I have a small tool chest that Guy gave me for Christmas a few years ago. He had loaded it with candy and other goodies like he kept at his desk to share. I know Guy is in heaven and rejoicing now. His passing is a great loss for many. I will miss him greatly.

Brother Guy and Ms. Kathy was the second home for my daughter after my husband died. They were her second set of parents and mentors for me and her. They loved her as their own. They treated her as their own. I so appreciated everything they did for me and her. Brother Guy will be missed.

May the Lord give you strength and hope for the days ahead. The Still family have been longtime friends from our school days and our common ground at Patterson, Georgia. Praying the LORD'S grace and peace for you all.

Guy Still was one of the most loving, gentle, sweet-mannered men I have ever known. He was a good husband to Kathy and a good father to his wonderful children. I will never forget the days at Blythe Island Baptist when Benjamin and Bradley were just toddlers and preschoolers, and all the wonderful memories we made.

Gary and I are so sorry for your loss. Please know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time. We love you all so much.

FROM THE FAMILY

Guy always put his family first, making sure to be there for all of the important moments.

FROM THE FAMILY

Guy's love for Kathy far outweighed any other love in his life. He was an amazing husband to his amazing wife.

FROM THE FAMILY

Although Guy and Kathy were never able to go out west together, he was able to experience one of their dreams by visiting multiple national parks with his daughter Erin and her family. Here he is pictured by "General Sherman"

FROM THE FAMILY

It was hard to catch a genuine smile on camera unless, of course, Guy was out on the lake in Hiawassee, with his family.

FROM THE FAMILY

Guy loved 4th of July! He enjoyed the yearly quality time with his family, celebrating their country.

FROM THE FAMILY

Nothing brought a bigger smile to Guy's face than hearing, "Grandaddy!" from one of his many grandchildren.

FROM THE FAMILY

Although the Navy was a small portion of his life, he was proud to serve along side the great men and women fighting for our country.

FROM THE FAMILY

Maybe it was the 'hot air' in Brunswick, or maybe it was the joy of having everyone together, but the Still family was all smiles this morning.
