Helen J. Johnson Perry

Mrs. Helen Johnson Perry, 87, a resident of Brunswick, died Thursday 7/19/12 in Gracemore Nursing Home in Brunswick, Georgia. Mrs. Perry was a native of Graham, Georgia and had been a resident of Brunswick since 1959. She was a long time employee with Salkins Shore Store, later Hendrix Shoe Store.

Mrs. Perry was a member of the Glyndale Baptist Church and the Golden Harvest Sunday School Class.

She was preceded in death by her husband Loma Perry, her parents, Chris and Agnes Mullis Johnson and a sister, Beatrice Langford. Survivors are her children, Earl Perry, Ronnie Perry (Cindy) both of Brunswick, Joan Vann (Hugh) of St. Simons Island and Jean Smith of Brunswick, Gail Roberson (Richard) of Quitman, GA, grandchildren, Susan Mills, Lauren Perry, Jonathan Perry, Beth Raffield, Robby Roberson, Ricky Gibbs, Tommy Smith, Dena Vincent and Lisa Vann, 15 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Monday 7/23/12 in the Chapel of the Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Creekmore officiating. Interment will follow in Palmetto Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be: Ricky Gibbs, Tommy Smith, Jonathan Perry, Justin Smith, Keith Raffield, Robby Roberson, and Royce Mills. Honorary pallbearers will be; Members of Golden Harvest Seniors Sunday School Class at Glyndale, Staff of Gracemore and Staff of Share Care, Inc.

The family request in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Share Care, Inc, 46 Professional Dr., Brunswick, GA, 31520. The family will receive friends in the Funeral Home from 6 PM to 8 PM Sunday 7/22/12.
