Imogene DeLoach Doss, age 93, died Monday, January 26, 2015, at Azalealand Nursing Home in Savannah. Imogene was born in Maryville, TN on March 29, 1921 and moved to Brunswick in 1927. She was a graduate of Glynn Academy, class of 1939, worked for Southern Bell Telephone Company and attended Norwich Street Baptist Church. Imogene married in 1941 and moved to Savannah where she became a member of Savannah Christian Church and retired from Belk at the Oglethorpe Mall.
She is survived by her two children, Barbara Ann Morris (Richard) and Allen Doss (Lee Ann). She is also survived by the grandchildren and great-granddaughter she loved so much, Richard Morris, Jr. (Patrick), Jeffrey Morris (Elizabeth), Gavin Morris, Justin Doss, Patrick Doss as well as many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 2:00 pm at Palmetto Cemetery in Brunswick with Reverend Mary Helen Newman officiating.
Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
