Irene was a beautiful free spirit. Born October 14th, 1947 in Augusta, GA, she was a uniquely original artist and a loving mother and grandmother. Of all her creative pursuits, she was primarily a gifted singer and painter. Her favorite subjects to paint were landscapes, mostly of Greece and other European cities. Her artwork has been displayed in galleries in Brunswick and Columbus and she was a member of the Columbus Artist Guild. As a singer, she was a gifted tambourine player with a powerful, soulful voice. Her ability to transform classic rock and 60’s music was unmatched, and she enjoyed performing live with the Ironclad Band.
She is survived by her husband Dean Dyck; her siblings, Bertha Hrynyk, Sabra Halverson, Rovenia Fuller (Bob), and Elizabeth Mai; her children, Veronica Coldiron (Mike), Monica Stubbs (Joe), Richard Roberts Jr. (Christy); her grandchildren, Chris Jordan, Steven Jordan, Shandy Frey (David), Ally Green (Jesse), Richard Roberts III (Grace), Taylor Creel, Kaleb Creamer, Lillian Stubbs, David Roberts (Julia), and Prudence Hagans; and her great-grandchildren, Kaylee Eller, Lyric Greene, Rhythm Greene, Lily Roberts, Melody Jordan, and Ellington Frey.
