Jack Landis Morris, Sr., 76, of Brunswick, departed this life Monday, March 18, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm on Friday, March 22, 2024 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Reverend Randy Wainright officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Park Cemetery with Tristan Morris, Connor Boone, Landis Rotz, Paul Williams, Craig O’ Berry, and Wesley Googe serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Mitch McDaniel and Michael Boone.
Born March 9, 1948 in Tullahoma, Tennessee to the late Millard Morrell and Myrna Marie N. Morris, he was a graduate of Brunswick High School. Mr. Morris had lived most of his life in Brunswick and was the owner of Morris Roofing. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Earl Morris and several siblings preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Geneva Scott Morris of Brunswick, two children, Jack L. Morris, Jr. and wife Lorie of Nahunta, and Geneva Ann Rotz of Brunswick, six grandchildren, April O’ Berry and husband Craig, Brandon Morris, Landis Rotz, Macy Williams and husband Paul, Hailee Morris, and Tristan Morris, nine great grandchildren, Connor Boone, Lanie Boone, Brady Williams, Emersyn Rotz, Raelan Morris, Adalynn Rotz, Luka Williams, Clayton O’ Berry, and Layton O’ Berry, a sister, Patsy Long of Brunswick , several nieces and nephews.
