Jackie Clifton McKenzie, 90, of Brunswick, departed this life Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Hospice of the Golden Isles. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 8, 2026, in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, with Pastor Travis Thrower officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel McKenzie, Wesley Carter, Brad Parker, Joe Renehan, Steven Langley, and Mike Barber. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Stiles, Todd Hutcheson, Tim Hutcheson, Leon Carter, Gary Williams, Chris Smith, Larry Ortman, and Joe Rocha.
Mr. McKenzie was the owner and operator of Hi-Tech Automotive. He was a veteran of the Georgia Air National Guard and a member of Golden Isles Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed antique cars and go-kart racing. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas McKenzie; his mother, Maggie Bratcher Rowe; and his sisters, Nanalou Galbreath, Charlotte Hays, and Virginia O’Sullivan.
Survivors include his wife, Marion McKenzie of Brunswick; three children, Clifton Wayne McKenzie and wife Patricia of Abbeville, South Carolina, Patricia Lamb and husband Chuck of Middletown, Maryland, and Julie Hutcheson and husband Chad of Dublin, Georgia; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Jones and husband Phil of Orlando, Florida.
The family will receive friends Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
