Jacqueline "Jackie" Jean Bartlett

June 9, 1930 – July 6, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Jacqueline "Jackie" Ratliff Bartlett on July 6, 2026, at her home. Born on June 9, 1930, in the rolling hills of Kentucky, Jackie was the beloved daughter of James and Lucille Ratliff. She was a beacon of kindness, grace and faith throughout her 96 years.

Jackie was preceded in death by her dear siblings, Betty Sue Amy, James Paul Ratliff, and Randall Lee Ratliff, and her loving husband, Donald Raymond Bartlett. Together, Jackie and Donnie shared 63 wonderful years of marriage, a testament to their unwavering love and devotion.

A proud alumna of Brunswick Junior College, Jackie pursued her calling with a degree in nursing. She dedicated two decades of her life to providing compassionate care as a nurse for a local urologist and cardiologist in Brunswick. Her gentle touch and empathetic nature left a lasting impact on both colleagues and patients alike.

Jackie's faith was a cornerstone of her life. As an active member of College Place Methodist Church and a former member of Norwich Street Baptist Church, she contributed her time and talents generously, serving as the head librarian at Norwich Street Baptist for many years.

She was a gifted artist and an avid gardener. She enjoyed having beautiful flowers in her home along side the lovely portraits she painted. Her love for God and her faith, was only surpassed by her love for her family.

She leaves behind her son, Joel Raymond Bartlett, the light of her life. Jackie "Nana" was blessed with her two loving grandchildren, Spencer Joel Bartlett (Arden) of Savannah and Abby Caroline Bartlett of Brunswick. Her love extended to her beautiful great-granddaughters: Lilly Annabelle Bartlett, Bryce Elizabeth Bartlett and Pearson Amelia Bartlett. They will all treasure the memories of their Mother and Nana, who loved and adored them.

Jackie also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Jackie was a woman of immense kindness, whose life was a testament to love, resilience, and generosity. She touched the lives of everyone she met with her gentle spirit and unwavering love.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Jackie's memory to College Place Methodist Church.

The family invites you to visitation Tuesday, July 14th from 5-7 at Edo Miller Funeral Home in Brunswick and the funeral service Wednesday, July 15th, 11am at College Place Methodist Church

Her life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, kindness, and service. Jackie will be dearly missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire and guide those who were fortunate enough to know her.
