Medical Center in Brunswick. He was a native of Wilcox County and spent the last twenty three
years of his life in Coastal Georgia. He was an army veteran and a retired long distance truck
driver. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching ball games, and seeing his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Julius and Marie Conner and two brothers Jack and
William Conner. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Davene Conner of Brunswick, a sister,
Faye Williams of Jacksonville, FL, two daughters, Tammy Fortson(Andy) and Melinda Milsaps,
of Canon, GA, two step-sons, Robert Dale Shadron(Katie) and Kerry Wayne Shadron(Angie)
of Brunswick, and s step-daughter Kelly McCoy(Shawn) of Denver, CO,14 grandchildren and
numerous nieces and nephews, and his faithful furry companion Rambo.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday Oct. 29th at First United Pentecostal
Church off Hwy 341 in Brunswick. Rev. Danny Webster will officiate
