

James Selwyn Duke, III, “Jay” 50, of Brunswick, GA passed away on the 9th of January 2013, at Southeast Georgia Health Systems. The family will be celebrating Jay’s life on Sunday the 13th of January, 2013 from 3 PM – 6 PM at Neptune Park on St. Simons Island.
Mr. Duke is a lifelong native of Brunswick, GA born on the 27th of June 1962, to the late LCDR James S. Duke, Jr. and Anne D. Duke. Mr. Duke was a graduate of Glynn Academy and AltamahaTechnical School, he was owner of Advantage Limo Service and worked with Pizza Hut # 341 and Dominos. Mr. Duke enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Golden Isles Men’s Association Bowling League. He also was an avid sports fan and fisherman. “GO DAWGS!” He leaves behind many fond memories that will be cherished by all.
Mr. Duke is survived by his wife of 17 years: Carlas N. Duke of Brunswick; three children: Brian A. Heinhold (Cammie) of Ft. Stewart, Keeley A. Duke of Brunswick and Elyssabeth R. Duke of Brunswick; three sisters: Deborah Duke Moore of Forsythe, GA, Dana Duke Crews of Nahunta, GA and Deirdre Duke Hendley of Jesup, GA; two brothers-in-law: Carl Moore of Forsythe, GA and Travis Crews of Nahunta, GA; nieces and nephews: James M. Pruitt of Atlanta, GA, Katy Harris (Bryan) of Brunswick and Jennifer Blocker (Troy) of Jesup, GA; several great nieces and nephews: Elaina Stevens and Jes Stevens both of Brunswick, Samantha Blocker and Calvin Blocker both of Jesup, Ga; a cousin: Kelvin Griffis (Beth) of Brunswick, GA and numerous other family members and close Jerry Popham friend.
