
James David Lovett, 77, of Brunswick, GA, entered into eternal rest Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the Hospice of the Golden Isles. Visitation will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.
Mr. Lovett was born April 4, 1938 in Rochelle, GA, to the late Olin Talmadge Lovett, and the late Iris Chloe Lovett. He is a 1956 class graduate of Glynn Academy and a graduate of Brewton Parker College and attended North Georgia College. Mr. Lovett was employed by Organic Products as a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #717, Royal Arch Masons, Saint Elmo Commandery, Alee Shrine Temple, America Legion, VFW, and Blythe Island Baptist Church.
Mr. Lovett enjoyed hunting Fox, Deer, and Turkeys, He also enjoyed fresh water and salt water fishing, and spending time with his family.
Survivors includes Mr. Lovett’s loving wife Rebecca Symons Lovett; a son Roger David Lovett both of Brunswick, GA; two daughters Marie Leeann Lovett of Brunswick, GA. and Karen Lovett Mock of Mount Vernon, GA; a brother Raymond Earl Lovett (Annette) of Brunswick, GA; seven grandchildren , two great – grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
