Throughout his life, James found joy in the outdoors and the simple pleasures of Southern living. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who cherished time spent in nature. Whether casting a line or tracking deer, he embraced the quiet and patience these pursuits required. His love for grilling brought family and friends together over good meals and warm conversation. Saturdays in the fall were reserved for Auburn football, a passion that ran deep and brought him great pride.
James's life reflected a strong connection to tradition and family. Those who knew him will remember his steady presence and the way he shared his interests with those around him.
May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him. In lieu of flowers, the family would like for a donation be made to Hospice of the Golden Isles, Brunswick, GA.
