

James David Whited, 72, of Brunswick, GA passed away Tuesday evening the 30th of September 2014 at Southeast Georgia Health Systems. A memorial service will be held 11 AM, Friday, October 3, 2014 at Grace Community Church of Nazarene, with Reverend Myron Wise officiating.
Mr. Whited was born in Milan Georgia, the 6th of December 1941 to the late Nora Mae Quick and the late David Chester Whited. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp serving during the Vietnam era. Mr. Whited had been a resident of Brunswick, GA for most of his life. He was a graduate of Glynn Academy, retiring from Hercules Incorporation as lab analyst. He was also the owner of Whited Income Tax in Brunswick, and was of the Christian faith.
Mr. Whited enjoyed being with his family and was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan. He leaves behind many fond memories that will cherished by all.
In addition to Mr. Whited parents he is preceded in death by his brother J.C. Whited, a granddaughter Amber Whited, and a grandson Andrew David Larson.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years Edith Jean Whited of Brunswick, GA; three daughters Charlene Lane ( Butch ) , Jo-Anne Larson, and Elizabeth Allen ( Tony ) ; a son James E. Whited all of Brunswick, GA; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and many other family members.
