Jerry loved the Lord and raised his family to do the same. He enjoyed spending time sharing a story or watching the Georgia Bulldog football game with family and friends. He was a beloved Chick-fil-A Operator in the Golden Isles for over 25 years. He loved his community and the people that lived here. He also enjoyed spending time outside fishing off his dock or piddling in his work shed. He and Sandy loved to antique shop together looking for something unique.
Jerry served in the United States Navy as an air traffic controller in Adak, Alaska where he jokingly said he was taller than the trees. He was a patriot and loved his country.
His faith in Jesus was his most important decision he ever made. He lived his life with honor and integrity, striving to bring glory to the Lord in doing so. His legacy is his strong faith in the Lord that he so often shared with others. Please know he would want you to know his King, too.
