Joan was born Sunday, June 18, 1944, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Mr. Charles Hiram Gish and the late Mrs. Gladys Elizabeth Beason Gish.
In addition to her parents, Joan is preceded in death by her son, Andrew Reid 'Andy' Manis.
Joan is survived by her children, Benjamin Tyler (Margaret) Manis, Charles Clay Manis, and Mason Manis (Adam) Lurie, as well as her grandchildren, Murphy Elizabeth Manis, Amelia Leah 'Millie' Lurie, and Audrey Eliza Lurie.
Joan will be laid to rest in Whitfield Memorial Gardens beside her beloved son, Andy.
