

Joe E. Little, 80, of Brunswick, died Monday, December 29, 2014 at SGHS in Brunswick. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, January 2, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Brunswick with Rev. Jimmy Crandall officiating. Interment will follow in Palmetto Cemetery with Stephen Little, Chris Caprino, Tyler Little, Sean Reilly, Alan Wendel and Kevin Koenig serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Glynn Academy Class of 1952.
Born June 4, 1934 in Blount County, Alabama to the late Samuel E. and Esma W. Little, he was a former member of the National Guard, and was also the former owner of Little’s Paint and Wallcoverings. Mr. Little had been a lifelong resident of Glynn County and was a 1952 Graduate of Glynn Academy. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Brunswick where he served as a deacon, was active in the youth department and served on several committees. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, stock car racing, and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan as well as The University of Georgia Bulldogs. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Marie Little Massey.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Charlotte M. Little of Brunswick, four children, Joe Mitchell Little and wife Valerie of Brunswick, Penny Reilly of Longwood, FL, Gregory Michael Little of Buford, GA, and Barbara Ann Little of Brunswick, 5 grandchildren, Stephen Little, Christopher Caprino, Tyler Little, Sean Reilly, and Tracy Little Wendel, four great grandchildren, Jordan Caprino, Landyn Sannutti, Logan Wendel, and Cadence Wendel, a brother, Cecil Samuel Little and wife Lawanna of Brunswick, a sister, Elaine Little Koenig and husband Tony of Flagler Beach, FL, one aunt, Virgie Washburn Vinson of Anniston, AL, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
