Joel McMillan, 57, of Brunswick, died Thursday, August 19, 2010 at Candler Hospital in Savannah. Graveside rites will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, August 21, 2010 in Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Art Cyphers officiating.
Born June 15, 1953 in North Hamptonshire England to James Manlin McMillan Jr. and Barbara Wilson McMillan, he was a retired auto parts sales representative. Mr. McMillan was a graduate of Glynn Academy and member of Norwich Baptist Church. He was an avid sports fan and a lifelong resident of Brunswick. He was preceded in death by his father James Manlin McMillan Jr.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Ronda McMillan, a son, Brandon McMillan, a daughter, Ashley McMillan all of Brunswick, his mother, Barbara McMillan of St. Simons Island, a brother, Gary McMillan of Brunswick, mother in law, Annette Vicent of Brunswick, and father in law, David Lipthratt of Brunswick.
