John Frederick Boutelle Jr.

John Frederick Boutelle, Jr, 94, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Southeast Georgia Medical Center in Brunswick, GA after a brief illness. Mr. Boutelle was born in Smyrna, Cobb County, Georgia on December 24, 1920 to the late John F. and Letha Acree Boutelle.

Mr. Boutelle resided in Eatonton, GA for 30 years. He was a WWII Army veteran and self employed. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Rosemary Herb Boutelle and one daughter, Theressa Boutelle Williams.

Survivors include one daughter, Sherrie Boutelle Stewart (Tommy), of Saint Simons Island, GA; three sons, William H. Boutelle (Mary Ellen), of Covington, GA, John F. Boutelle III (Marsha), of Covington, GA, and Richard S. Boutelle of Conyers, GA; 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grand children and 2 nephews also survive.

Mr. Boutelle's memorialization was by cremation and a private celebration of his life will be held in the near future.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Diabetes Association.

Arrangements are entrusted to Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home and Oglethorpe Crematorium.
