John Paul was born in Philadelphia, PA on December 27, 1965, he lived with his parents, Henny and Paul, and brother Andre. They moved to upstate NY in 1972 and he was a student at Canajoharie Central School, and graduated in 1987.
John Paul was active in the Special Olympics where he enjoyed swimming and bowling. He worked at Liberty Enterprises after graduation until his family moved to St. Simons Island, Georgia. He then worked at Gateway Services in their workshop and eventually lived in Gateway’s assisted living home during his last years.
He loved to watch WWE pro wrestling and knew all the wrestlers by heart. He loved to keep calendars, marking off each day - everyone he knew saved him calendars to give him on his birthday - he must have marked off 50 calendars a day. He was known for always having a cheerful and happy disposition - he never seemed to be bothered or upset with life.
