My first Easter without you..I miss you're special way of being in the world. You were pleasant to everyone and forgave freely. So proud of all you've accomplished.  I know you were so happy being retired on St Simon's Island but we only had barely 2 years..til we meet again..one day at a time..and every day is Game day!

Jack it’s unbelievable to know that I am writing a memory of you.  You were a hard worker & always willing to help anyone, I’m happy that our paths cross, I’m guessing you & Zac are causing a ruckus up there, no time for sudoku keep letting carol know that you are still near. Cheers to one of the best westing ref’s on LI. Just know that Larry & I are sadden to know that you have transitioned, until we meet again . SIH 

Jack was the perfect husband for my sister. He was patient, loving, and made her feel secure. He came from the wrestling world that is well understood by the Carrozza family. He was an accomplished wrestler and official.

Jack and I would attempt wrestling matches at family barbecues as we both were forever young. The family wouldn't let us get carried away.

Jack was a good man gone way too soon.

2 mos and 5 days...living one day at a time and carrying on with life as you would want finding something positive each day enjoying our island. I promise you to improve the health care one way or another...some of your wrestling official buddies are wearing your wrist bands in your memory this season. Dave is doing one more season just for you! Going to miss watching you officiate..it was like a performance...wrestling community sure is missing one of its best!

Jack,
I never met somone who had the gifts you possessed. You had the ability to talk to anyone you came in contact with, and make them feel important. You genuinely cared how somone was doing and always took time to ensure that even strangers were listened to. Your kind words and caring smile touched thousands over the years. You were a good man and always showed my mother love. You were taken to soon and before your time. I can picture you standing next to Peter at the gates as a greeter.....till we meet again. God bless 


Night time and mornings are the hardest..silence is deafening.  Miss you and your good heart..rest easy good night..

Even though I only met Jack once, he definitely left a big impression on me. Jack & my future mother in law, Carol came to visit for a week last year. During this time, I was fortunate enough to meet Jack. He was very kind and easy going. During their stay, I remember him telling me  he loved the music selection I was playing & questioning where I was getting it from. I told him I made an American/Patriotic playlist on Pandora for the BBQ we had. He had no idea what Pandora was lol, he was just happy to listen to some good music. 
I remember him telling me how good of a runner he was, that he jogged several miles daily back in the day. So the next morning, I invited him for a 2 mile jog around the neighborhood, doubting that he'll be able to keep up because usually anybody I go out & jog with cannot keep up. I was in disbelief! Not only did he keep up, he made it up steep hills and back in less than 20 mins. He was in phenomenal shape ! Jack will truly be missed .

A year ago today we took zach to the beach his first time ever..who knew then in a year from that day I would have lost you both! 💔 

It's been one month today since that horrible night...but as I walk anywhere in our dream home you are there. You had your hand in everything and its hard to keep up with the way you kept our lawn and landscape so impeccable.  You had less than 2 years of retirement when the curtain dropped.  Every day I remember to take it One day at a Time..and it's good to laugh and be happy. The cards from Jack Fiorvanti's fans continue and I read and save each one..
I will miss watching you officiate football and wrestling and the stories about what role you got play that day at fletc! Jack lived life daily at 100 percent. And for those who know the inside story..thank you for your concern...lol

I was fortunate enough to have Jack as my stepfather for almost a decade. He brought a calming, kind, and happy-go-lucky presence to our family. It feels a little strange to obtain a stepdad when you're already a grown adult but he and my dad became great friends and Jack was the perfect match for my mom. We all thought they would enjoy many more years of retirement together but God had other plans for reasons unknown.  Jack was loved by family, friends, colleagues, coworkers, and acquaintances alike because he was sincerely a good man and a nice person who made everyone, young and old, feel valued. He left us too soon but the impression he left on all of our hearts will last forever. Rest in peace, Jack. We miss you so much. ♥️

Genuine to the Core !!! Jack had a Disposition that would put you at ease and make you feel comfortable whether he was meeting you for the first time  or if you were a long time friend . Amazing how he displayed focus,  intensity  and concentration at such a high level while working with high school students as a wrestling official but have the ability to display such a soft spoken kind and caring demeanor while with his Friends and family. A Monumental Loss for All ! God Bless You my Friend !🤼‍♂️

I worked with Jack a few times at Fletc.  He was one of the nicest people I've met.  His loss is a tragedy.  Rest in Peace my friend. 

Jack was a great referee  in the NCTFL I looked forward officiating every Sunday with him! Most of all he was a great friend! Rest in peace my friend ! GO LONG !

Jack was special , you couldn't not like the man. I knew Jack only a handful of  years , but we became great friends, did a lot of projects , had a lot of laughs , great memories. 
He became the mayor of wherever he lived , everybody loved him and his ways. I will surely miss him. It was a pleasure to have known him.


Flowers and cards flow in daily. Long notes telling of a kindness Jack performed or a helping hand extended.  He greeted each day with enthusiasm and joyfulness . He would read daily  from his meditation books..
upon my awakening I was greeted with a big " Good Morning!" As I grunted my way to the coffee pot..the nights and mornings now are just blended into one with nothing to mark the new day coming. 
 I wait to hear..Good morning once again.

After finding out the Jack had passed, for the first time I had to go to his old post on the 4th floor and before the elevator doors open, I took a deep breath and had an image of Jack sitting at the desk with a smile on his face. As I walked out of the elevator I was greeted with this beautiful memorial. WHAT a surprise.... I hope the photo uploads so you all can see it... It made me cry....

I was lucky enough to have Jack as a coworker and friend. He was always there to lend an ear during times of frustration, and provided inspiration with his wealth of positive attitude and affirmations. And if he ever caught you staring at the ceiling while he was talking to you, he would tell you how many dots were on  the ceiling tiles. I had the privilege, but unenviable task of assuming his post at Town Hall when he retired to St. Simon's Island. He left quite a legacy there, and neither he or his head locks will soon be forgotten.  Know that he loved you, Carol, and nothing would bring a smile to his face like when he talked about his family.

I  met Jack about a year or less at Fletc.  He is one of the nicest people I have met. We instantly got along as if we have known each other for years. I will miss your Boston accent and the smile you always wore on your face. God speed my friend, you will be missed. 

I worked with Jack at the town. Always a smile and a kind word. He was witty and funny and would never sit still.  He loved talking about  all the wrestling games that he refereed and the joy it gave him.
 Carol he always talked about you and how lucky he was to have found you. His eyes would light up when I would ask him how you were doing. Jack may you rest in peace.

Living with Jack was a fun adventure every day. He loved his new home on St. Simon's Island and loved being a roleplayer at the Federal law enforcement training center.  As you know he was not one to sit still. He loved talking with all the neighbors and spending time with his best buddy Deric Tipton and Elayne.  Rarely a harsh word and would say he loved me everyday sometimes through clenched teeth lol
A perfect retirement relaxing and lnvestigating all our Islands beauty. 
   I was so fortunate to have been his wife. 
Though it ended way too soon. 
Jack was such a friendly guy he became friends with my x husband. Very opposite in ways they had a friendship like Ralph Cramden and Ed Norton.  He made life easy. Though I will miss him every day I have such great memories to keep me warm.  Glad we said our I love yous every day so there was nothing left unsaid.

No Stalling!

Words can not say how sorry I am about Jack. He was a great person who loved life and the Boston Red Socks!  I worked with Jack at the Town of Hempstead. Jack was the Public Safety officer  the 4th floor of Town Hall. I am one of the TOH Photographers.  Every time I had to the 4th floor to deliver prints, I would be greeted with a "Go Socks" and was always reminded how much the New York Yankees "sucked". When it came time to put up the 4th floor Christmas tree, Jack made sure that the Yankees had an ornament "Somewhere" on the tree---BUT the Red's Sock's would be displayed loud and proud dead center. All of those little things is what made Jack- JACK putting a smile on my face every time.  When me and my Husband took a trip to Boston, we took a tour of Fenway park. I was going crazy to get Jack the perfect little something from the park.. The best thing I could think of was to take some nice photos of the park and give him that and let him know how I talked to the tour guide all about "Jack at my job" and told the tour guide how even though Jack loves Boston and I love the Yankees, we would always be good friends.. Jack loved the pictures and was happy to hear my stories of  my trip. RIP my Friend....  

I met Jack when we both worked in Public Safety for the Town of Hempstead. His caring nature, constant smile, and helpful ways were omnipresent. Whether a few hours went by,  a few days, weeks or months, he would pick up the conversation as if we'd just started it. He was a good friend and he will be missed. 
My sympathies to Carol and all who loved him.

He always knew how to bring a smile to everyone's face.  I am so sorry to hear about Jack.   My  condolences go out to his family and friends.
