John W. "Bill" Flexer Jr.

John W. “Bill” Flexer, Jr., 61, of Brunswick died Saturday, June 23, 2012 at SGHS in Brunswick. Memorial services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, June 27, 2012 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Crandall officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Glynn Academy Class of 1969 football team, Steven Buchholz, Corky Lanier, and Terry Moore.

Born January 10, 1951 in Glynn County, Georgia to the late John W. and Jean D. Flexer, Sr., he was the retired owner of a retail sales company. Mr. Flexer was a graduate of Glynn Academy Class of 1969 and a graduate of Georgia Southwestern College. He enjoyed the going to the beach, annual trips to the Florida Keys, was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time on Man Land. Bill had a great love for his family and friends, and always brought smiles to those in his company.

Survivors include his wife of 24 years, B. Kaye Katz-Flexer of Brunswick, his many four legged companions both canine and feline, a sister, Elizabeth “Beth” Cornelius of Indianapolis, IN, a niece, Amanda Cornelius, and several aunts, uncles and cousins in Glynn County.
