

Jack was born November 21, 1932 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania the son of the late Harnus Pearson and Dolores Talbot Mullennex. He had resided on Saint Simons Island, Georgia for the past twenty-five years. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Davis and Elkins College in Elkins, West Virginia. Then he served his country honorably in the United States Airforce Jag Corps and reached the rank of Captain. He was also a Vietnam Veteran. He later became a Federal Agent and retired after serving twenty – five years. When serving as a Federal Agent, he was among the first group of Federal Sky Marshalls. Then he taught high school English from 1963 to 1965. He also was a United States Treasury Agent from 1965 to 1986.
Jack is survived by his very special friends, Richard Jeff Jenkins of Brunswick, GA and David Jerome Hariton of New Smyrna Beach, FL. He also leaves behind several other friends.
Jack leaves these words behind for his friends to remember him with. “Mourn not when a loved one is away; rather praise and dwell upon the past glamorous days of delight.”
A Celebration Event will be held at a later date to honor Jack’s life. The inurnment will be at the mausoleum in Arlington National Cemetery.
Jack loved to dine out at the local Saint Simons Island restaurants with his friends. He also enjoyed visiting with the local merchants on the island. He had a special cat that he liked to feed on the island. His many friends will have many fond memories to cherish for years to come.
