Jose Arturo Gutierrez

He graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso, UTEP, where he received his degree in engineering and found a job doing what he loves, aerospace engineering. He worked for Lockheed Martin and United Launch Alliance for 30+ years where he later retired from.

Tury is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lynne Riggs Gutierrez, and his parents Jose F. Gutierrez and Paula A Gutierrez. He is survived by his children Ana Gutierrez-Verbos, Monique Howard, Jose Justin Gutierrez and Jose Roberto Gutierrez, and his 9 grandchildren Katiana and Julieta Verbos, Amelie and Wesley Howard, Jayden Rust, Alani Rodriguez, Bella Gutierrez, Leah Gutierrez, and Liela Gutierrez , his 3 fur-grandkids, Foxy, Sadie and Mr. Paws, and his fur babies, his cat Dakota and dog, Chisum.

There will be a memorial service during the summer as our father did not like the cold. Information will be given at a later date.

I lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to any local animal rescue, as he loved God’s creatures and believed in adopting the unwanted.
