Joseph was born on December 3,1939 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Sebastian and Angelina Bartolotta (Natale). He graduated from high school in Brooklyn, in 1957. Then earned a bachelors degree in engineering from Brooklyn Poly Tech University in 1961. On March 8,1969 he married Angie Patnelli in Seaford, New York. He worked for Grumman Aeronautical Corporation on Long Island, New York. He had fours sons Joseph Jr., John, Steve, and Thomas. He moved to Palm Coast, Florida in 1986 from Nesconsent, New York. He continued to work at Grumman in Florida until he retired in 2005. He was an active member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, in Palm Coast. His hobbies were trains, golf, history, science, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He loved his wife for fifty years and his family! His wife Angie Ann Bartolotta is with him in heaven, as she passed in March of 2018.
He is survived by his sons, Joseph Bartolotta of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl; John Bartolotta of Palm Coast, Fl; Steven Bartolotta and his wife Kimberly of Ormond Beach, FL; Thomas Bartolotta and his wife Madalyn of Brunswick, Ga. His granddaughter Isabelle Bartolotta of Ormond Beach, Fl. Also his grandson Charles Joseph Bartolotta of Brunswick, Ga.
Joseph is predeceased by his parents and his brothers Lee and Mike Bartolotta.
A visitation will be Friday, July 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St Francis Xavier Church with funeral service to follow at 12:00 pm. Serving as pallbearers are Thomas Bartolotta, Steve Bartolotta, Joseph Bartolotta, Fred Avolio, Chris Long, Chuck Hill and John Bartolotta.
