Julie was born September 19, 1957 in Kingsport, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Hawk and Norma Hawkins. She was a 1975 graduate of Boca Raton High School and she received her Associates Degree from Palm Beach Junior College.
For over 30 years Julie worked in customer service and sales in the Brunswick area. She sold insurance, automobiles, furniture and even motorcycles. She also worked in the restaurant industry. When she was not selling to her customers she enjoyed cooking, keeping up with the latest fashion, her animals and watching baseball.
She is survived by her son, James "Bo" Way; her sisters, Amy Damiano and Missy (Craig) Dillion; and her nephews, Tommy, Shane, and Brayden.
A memorial service will be 2:00pm Monday, November 6, 2017 in the First Baptist Church Twitty Chapel.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
