Born September 28, 1925 in Long County, Georgia to the late Eugene B. and Cecil G. Wheeler, she was a graduate of Ludowici High School. Mrs. Wilson had been a resident of Glynn County for 60 years and was a retired from Jenkins Automotive as a bookkeeper. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and enjoyed sewing and gardening. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Augustus Parker Wilson, and a sister Frances Stewart, and a brother Fred Wheeler.

Survivors include a son, Harold E. Wilson of Brunswick, a daughter, Shirley Johnson and husband Kurt of Brunswick, grandchildren, Jenny Dills and Christopher Hope, a great grandchild, Parker Long, a sister Virginia Zorn –Joyner of Savannah, and several nieces and nephews.
