Kathryn Byrd Hutcheson

Mrs. Hutcheson was a native of Florida and had been a resident of Brunswick for the past 28 years. She was a housewife and a member of the Bay Harbour Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Hutcheson , a son, Ronald Hutcheson, grandchildren, Kevin Hutcheson, Gregory Hutcheson, great grandson, Jerry Hensley, Jr. and her parents, Reubin Byrd and Alma Sowell Byrd.

Survivors are three daughters, Sandra Ward (Glenn) of McMinville, TN., Ann Samples (Cecil) of Brunswick, and Wanda Bare (Wallace) of Waynesville, Ga., two sisters, Christine Smith of Orlando, Fl., and Louise Whatley (Ira) of Live Oak, Fl., six grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and 17 nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM Saturday 2/19/11 from the Bay Harbour Church of God with rev. Robert Edenfield officiating. Interment will follow at 3 PM Saturday in the Hooks Cemetery in Soperton, Ga.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Hospice of the Golden Isles, Members of the Bay Harbour Church of God, Drs. Mitchell Jones, Marsha Certain and A. W. Strickland.

The family request contributions to the Hospice of the Golden Isles and will receive friends in the Church one hour before services.
