Kevin was born in New York but grew up in Jacksonville FL. He graduated from Bishop Kenny HS. He obtained his bachelors from the University of North Florida.
Kevin retired from Carl Zeiss but remained active as a travel agent, animal rescuer and being on the board of Coastal Animal Rescue Society (CARS). Kevin loved to travel, discover new foods and cook.
Kevin is survived by his wife Heather, 2 step children, Afton Ekholm & Forrest Ekholm, 2 sisters, Barbara Holmes & Karen (Mark) Shubin, 1 brother, Larry Ott, and numerous beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at his home on Saturday, November 3rd, from 2-5pm. We ask for donations to CARS in lieu of flowers.
