

Lillian Rosebell Jacobs, 96, of Brunswick, departed this life Friday, October 27, 2017 at Sears Manor in Brunswick. Funeral services will be conducted at 2PM Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Brother Robert Gibbons and Don Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow in Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery with Buddy Oakes, Cornell Harvey, Jeff Wages, Wayne Jones, Mitch Lee, and Bryan Thompson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Folsom, Bob Carlile, John Hartman, Buddy Hutchinson, Gary Sharpe, Spencer Tait and Dr. Larry Dial.
Born April 5, 1921 in Jennings, Florida to the late Lewis and Minnie P. Putnal, she was a homemaker and Avon Representative. Mrs. Jacobs had been a resident of Glynn County for over 70 years and has been a member of Carteret Road Church of Christ for over 65 years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Calvin Jacobs, and a son, Robert Lewis Jacobs.
Survivors include three daughters, Elizabeth Garrett of Perry, GA, Christine Jacobs of Brunswick, and Deborah Riner and husband Tom of Brunswick, a daughter in law, Betty Jacobs of Inez, KY, five grandchildren, Shirley Sharon (Rick), Sharon Wilson, James Garrett, Becky Cain (Larry), and Barry Jacobs (Karen), eleven great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.
The staff and employees of Sears Manor became family members during the time of Mrs. Jacobs stay and Heartland Hospice provided warm and loving professional assistance during her last days.
