Linda Diane Corley Lockhart, 78, of Brunswick, passed away peacefully on Sept. 5, 2026, in Brunswick. She was born on Oct. 9, 1947, in Lyons, but spent most of her life in Brunswick, where she made a home and built a lifetime of memories surrounded by family and friends.
Linda was a proud graduate of the Glynn Academy Class of 1965. She was the longtime owner of Golden Isles Trophies and Awards, a business she devoted many years to before her retirement. Through her work and her life in the community, Linda touched the lives of many people and was known for her warmth, generosity and love for others.
Linda's greatest joy was her family. She loved them deeply and especially treasured the time she spent with her grandsons. She also loved traveling to the mountains, cooking and baking for the holidays and decorating her home for every season. Halloween was particularly special to her, and she delighted in decorating her front yard so that all the neighborhood children could enjoy it. Her home, her holiday traditions and the love she poured into her family will remain cherished memories for those who knew her.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Vera Parker; her first husband, Thomas Byron Corley; and her second husband, Richard Byron Lockhart.
She is survived by her children, Jennifer Corley, Karen Adams (John), Bret Lockhart and Emily Lockhart; her grandsons, Justin Adams and Logan Adams; her sisters, Audrey Browning and Dot Brockington (Lonnie); nephews, Grover Drawdy and Lonnie Brockington Jr. (Holly) and Scott Brockington (T.J.); and her niece, Tonya "Sissy" Drawdy.
Linda will be lovingly remembered for her devotion to her family, her generous heart, her love of traditions and holidays and the happiness she brought to those around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
A celebration of life will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 11, 2026, at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Hospice of the Golden Isles for the wonderful care and compassion they provided to Linda and her family during the time she was in their care.
