Linda "Nana" Moore Maulden

Mrs. Maulden was a native of Long County and had been a lifelong resident of McIntosh County. She was a member of the Senior Citizens in Darien and the American Legion Auxiliary in Darien. She attended the Darien Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence E. Maulden of Darien.

Survivors are her daughter, Lynn Meacom (Bruce) of Darien, and a son, Joe Maulden (Sylvia) of Darien, three surrogate children, Lena Woodcock, Jody Woodcock of Darien, and Jamie Woodcock of Tampa, FL., grandchildren, Chris Gerth, Joey Maulden, Aubry Maulden, Ally Meacom, Danielle Silva, Josh Southerland, Taylor Dismuke, Patrick Haynes, Hannah Murphy, Beth Woodcock and Will Woodcock, and a great grandchild, Wyatt Gerth.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:30 PM Tuesday from the Darien Church of God with Rev. Dennis Johnson and Wayne Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in St. Andrews Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be: Richie Ryals, Gary Ryals, Ike Maulden, Matt Middleton, Robert Crowell, David Stevens, Jeff Luke and Jon Jon Hall. Honorary pallbearers will be: Dr. Randolph Baker and Staff and Members of the McIntosh Senior Citizens in Darien.

The family will receive friends in the Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home from 6 to 8 PM Monday 6/14/10.
