

She was born September 5, 1931, in Griffin Springs, Kentucky, to Lois Hord Faulkner and George Daniel Faulkner.
She grew up in Campbellsville, Kentucky, where she graduated from Campbellsville High School. After graduation, she attended Western Kentucky University, where she met and married William B. Lashlee in 1953. They resided in Bowling Green, Kentucky, until moving to St. Simons Island in 1993.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William B. Lashlee; her parents, Lois Hord Faulkner and George Daniel Faulkner; Richard Lee Faulkner (brother); and Lena Faulkner Sleamaker (sister).
Survivors include two daughters, Karen Bell and Ann Martin (Wayne) of St. Simons Island; one brother, George Daniel Faulkner Jr. (Boogie) of Campbellsville, Kentucky. three grandchildren, Faulkner Bell (Laura) of St. Simons Island, Georgia, Carson Bell of Athens, Georgia, and Hannah Martin of Charleston, South Carolina. One great-grandchild, Jackson Bell; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank everyone at Retreat at Marsh’s Edge for the extraordinary care she received.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at Christ Church Frederica.
