Mr. Bentley was a native of New York and had been a resident of Brantley County since 1985, He retired from Sea Pac after 20 years.
Survivors are his wife, Betty Briggs Bentley of Hortense, Ga., two daughters, Beth Hicks and Candy Bentley both of Brunswick, a brother, Ernie Bentley of New York, grandchildren, Robbie, Tracy, Christa, Angie, Tonya, Carol Lee, and Summer, great grandchildren, Autumn, Austin, Harley, Zachary, Abby, Baileigh, PEJA, Christopher and Greyson and three special friends, Tom Weston, Chris Gallops, George Daniels, Galen Lowther and Coochie Miller.
Memorial Services will be held at 6 PM Wednesday 8/8/12 in the Chapel of the Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Gionni Carter officiating.
The family will receive friends in the Funeral Home from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday 8/7/12.
Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home and Oglethorpe Crematorium in charge of arrangements.
