Loula Mae "Nanny" Hope Wallace

AM Thursday, December 13, 2018 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Reverend Darrell Joiner officiating. Interment will follow in Morgan’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Townsend with Bruce F. Austin, Jr., Patrick Hepner, Willard H. Wallace, III, Brian K. Hope, Michael Thompson Sr, Michael Thompson, Jr, and Jonathan Woods serving as pallbearers.

Born August 6, 1927 in McIntosh County, Georgia to the late Sidney Elliott and Lula Mae R. Hope, she moved to Brunswick in 1945 where she had resided until moving to Orange Park in 2015. Mrs. Wallace was a homemaker raising 5 children. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and crochet. She was a member of Everett Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Willard H. Wallace, Sr.

Survivors include her children, Martha Shelton of Brunswick, Willard H. Wallace and wife Tina of Brunswick, Tootsie Austin of Orange Park, Patricia Harris and husband Gene of Brunswick, John W. Wallace and wife Susan of Kingsland, and James Wallace and wife Jackie of Lithia Springs, eleven grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
