Luther Ray Brock

Brunswick- Luther Ray Brock passed away on September 8, 2022 at the age of 77 surrounded by family at his home. He was born February 6, 1945 in Cincinnati, OH. The son of Elihu Brock and Grace Coombes.

Ray, as he was known to family and friends, joined the United States Navy while still a teenager, where he proudly served with honor and integrity for the next 23 years. Assigned to naval air station Glynco in Brunswick, GA. In 1965 he would meet and marry the love of his life, Barbara Anne. They celebrated 56 years of marriage this past June.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother Thomas. He is survived by his devoted wife, Barabara Anne Brock; his 2 sons, Mathew and Phillip Brock; and his 4 grandchildren, Christopher, Abigail, Samantha, and Max Brock.

Ray was many things to many people. To his loving wife he was fiercely loyal, proud and faithful without exception. To his sons he was a protector, provider, hero and friend. To his grandchildren, a source of endless love and understanding. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
