

Ms. Madelaine (Pat) Cook of Brunswick, Ga., passed away peacefully at home on August 17, 2017 at the age of 89. Born May 22, 1928 in Hartford Connecticut; she was the daughter of the late Ferdinand Prince and the late Margaret Campbell Prince. She was educated in the public schools of Newport Rhode Island. Mrs. Cook married Mr. Jesse J. Cook on Sept. 10, 1968 in Morris, Illinois.
She lived most of her life in Morris, Illinois; where she and her husband raised their family. Mrs. Cook had many jobs which included working at the Morris Federal Paper Mill, Joliet Army Ammunition Plant, and was a cook at the Holiday Inn, Carson House and the Morris Airport.
Mrs. Cook enjoyed traveling, a good game of Euchre with friends and her embroidery. She was of the Catholic Faith.
Mrs. Cook leaves behind her seven children Judith (Rich) Tromp of Crystal River, FL, Pamela (Ed) Iddings of Coal City, IL, Nicky Anderson of Tampa, FL, Brenda (Wade) Roethlisberger of Brunswick, GA, Tim Cockream of Morris, IL, Terry (Vicky) Cockream of Inglis, FL, and Wayne Cockream of Oroville, CA; One sister Lorraine Asiello of Corning, NY; Fifteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren; Her best friends Ruth & Jerry Mettille and many at Elliot Manor.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Cook, a brother Albert Prince, a sister Lucille Aleshire and a son-in-law Bill Anderson.
Per Madelaine’s wishes please send all donations to the charity of your choice.
No services or visitation, Cremation Rites were accorded and a private Interment will take place at Fountain’s Memorial Cemetery in Homosassa, Fl.
